Aufgaben / Tasks
  • Analyse existing processes and review existing system(s) / tool(s) and strategically develop, (re)design and implement these at organizational level to align with the goals of the new operating model
  • Communicate with other CoCs to bring and keep Market Intelligence (trends, competitor and customer - existing, lost and targeted) in-line with other strategies, processes, system(s) / tool(s) and governance at the Multi Channel Marketing level
  • Conduct, implement and evolve a needs based market segmentation and behaviours and attitudes study in close coordination with the CoC Brand Strategy & Customer Experience (to thoroughly understand the target segments for each brand), the CoC Product House Coordination & Business Rules (to keep information flowing re product needs for specific segments), and the Multi Channel Marketing teams (to being able to tailor the campaign messaging more accurately to each customer segment)
  • Conduct monthly NPS / Customer Satisfaction deep dives for the whole business (tour operator, hotels, DMCs) to identify areas of immediate improvement or change. Issue bi-annual recommendations to the business to define the medium- and long-term brand strategies
  • Define, implement and continuously evolve an industry-leading brand equity tracking approach to monitor, guide and accelerate brand growth. Interpret data to identify emerging trends in consumer behaviour across different demographics and lifestyles and run bi-annual brand tracking deep dives with key stakeholders to support the business with the short-, medium- and long-term strategic planning
  • Oversee all custom quantitative and qualitative consumer research (either externally or internally by developing and implementing an internal research platform) to support the CoC Brand Strategy & Customer Experience with the pre and post pilot testing of new service and product developments
  • Support the Head of B2C Marketing to measure advertising campaign effectiveness (set and measure quantitative and qualitative key campaign metrics, conduct external survey testing)
  • Manage a roster of research agencies to support your research needs - ensuring you have quantitative agencies approved by our data security teams to receive and handle our customer data
  • Build an annual research roadmap and manage project costs within your allocation of the research budget
Profil / Qualifikation
  • Bachelor’s degree in market research, statistics, marketing, business or similar discipline. Advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in consumer insights and primary research (quantitative and qualitative methodologies) both client and vendor side
  • 4yrs+ of experience in professional mentoring, coaching and development of researchers
  • A strong track record of leveraging data and consumer insights to drive business growth and product innovation strategies
  • Proficiency in data analysis and in collecting and managing market intelligence data and developing relevant customer segmentation
  • Experience in conducting primary research end-to-end in-house (designing, fielding, analysing and reporting out)
  • Strong customer and marketing analytics. Any experience on the research side relating to qualitative insights, ethnographic research, focus groups, online structured surveys and online communities
  • Ability to work with and lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, to drive initiatives and achieve results across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to distill complex and diverse concepts into actionable recommendations non-researchers can easily understand
  • An ability to triangulate different data sources and to understand commercial context in order to turn research into relevant and actionable insight
  • Adept at building a compelling narrative from disparate sources of information
  • Experienced and confident presenter to senior stakeholders with ability for powerful storytelling.
  • Potential to be an effective people manager should the team expand
  • For the Center of Competence positions the following soft skills are elementary: communicative, curious, enthusiastic, charismatic, self-starting, extrovert, analytic
  • Travel related industry experience is an advantage
  • Strong English and German communication skills
